The YOU Power Project
ActiveFounder & CEO
A social enterprise empowering youth ages 10 to 18 to discover their passions, develop real-world skills, and launch operational businesses or community projects. Through programs like Passion to Purpose and Student Ventures, The YOU Power Project partners with schools, municipalities, and nonprofits to deliver entrepreneurship and leadership training that consistently produces high venture launch rates, preparing young people for future-ready pathways.

InternationalStrategic Advisor — through The YOU Power Project
A national-scale initiative focused on Competency-Based Education (CBE) implementation and teacher capacity building at a systems level. Jessica brings her expertise in education transformation to support country-wide efforts to shift how learning is designed, measured, and experienced, ensuring teachers have the tools, mindset, and skills to lead this transition. This work extends the core mission of The YOU Power Project to the global stage, demonstrating that the principles of future-ready, empowerment-led education are replicable across contexts and cultures.

ActiveSocial Innovation Fellow in Residence — Grey, Bruce & Beyond
In partnership with Georgian College's Department of Social Innovation and the YMCA Simcoe Muskoka, Jessica has played a central role in building the Social Innovation for Community Impact MicroCert and establishing a living ecosystem for community-led change. Serving as a Social Innovation Fellow in Residence across Grey and Bruce Counties, she leads Community of Practice calls, supports the stewardship of the ecosystem, and works alongside organizations, municipalities, and community members who are ready to move from problem-awareness to coordinated action.
The Community Innovation Network is the infrastructure for this work: a platform built to unlock community capital, enable collective planning, and connect practitioners with tools, research, and each other. This is not a program you complete. It is an ecosystem you become part of.

ActiveEcosystem Architect
A regional changemaker ecosystem development initiative designed to build the connective tissue between social entrepreneurs, community organizations, and institutions in the South Georgian Bay region and beyond. The Social Enterprise Journey is a living model of what it looks like to develop an ecosystem, not just programs, that sustains local changemaking over time.

ActiveCo-Visionary & Co-Founder
A transformative private high school initiative redefining secondary education by nurturing critical thinking, creativity, and personal growth. The Academy is a direct expression of a core belief: that quality education, empowerment, and community can and should coexist. It is an alternative education model built around human-centered learning and the understanding that schools should know who students are becoming, not only what they know.

Presented to MinistryStrategic Advisor
A proposed province-wide digital and physical hub designed to coordinate Ontario's housing system from policy to shovels in the ground. HomeBase™ is envisioned as an arms-length non-profit empowering municipalities, developers, non-profits, and the public to navigate existing tools, access funding pathways, and embrace innovative solutions like modular and attainable housing. The initiative has been formally presented to the Ontario Ministry of Housing.
